I made homemade salsa cruda, and it came out watery, even though no water was added. What can I do?
I threw some tomatos, jalapenos, lime juice and onion into my food processor, and the salsa came out watery! I made quite a bit of this stuff. It tastes ok, but the consistency is wrong. What did I do wrong? And is there something I can do to fix the batch i just made?
You can add corn starch to the salsa or like the guy above said you can drain it.
tomatoes do have a lot of water so it will happen, usually people cook the salsa when they make it and then the water evaporates. . . so that’s probably why you had more liquid because you did not cook it.

How Do You Use a Food Processor To Make Healthier Meals?
There are a wide variety of cookbooks available with recipes that call for adding purees. This is one of the simplest ways to start. By adding a squash puree to your spaghetti sauce (yes, even the canned ones), you increase your vegetables by at least a serving without tasting it. By increasing your vegetables, you are also increasing your fiber. Purees can be added to a variety of foods as a way to increase your daily vegetable intake without actually having to eat mounds of vegetables.
Beyond adding purees, with a food processor you can make your own salsas, dips, icings and other foods with fresh natural ingredients. This allows you to bypass the preservatives and extra sugars added to many processed foods to increase their shelf lives. The food processor is also great for chopping onions, grating cheese or helping you quickly get your ingredients ready for your recipes. And, with the easy clean up, you won’t spend hours scrubbing small parts. If you have small children just starting to eat solid foods, the food processor is a wonderful tool for making your own baby food. And, if you make an extra batch of pureed squash or carrots, you can add it to your own meal.
The food processor is small enough to fit in your kitchen and hard working enough that you will want to use it all the time. It is made so that you can put it in the dishwasher at night and pull it out in the morning to make your own huevos rancheros with fresh homemade salsa. Eating healthy was never so much fun!

Good recipe for homemade sauce is not thick?
My little brother loves chips and salsa. He also wants to make me a little because we can not not find in the store with no chunks of vegetables in it (which is low and just do not like). I try to find a good recipe quick can be done in a food mixer /. Also not too spicy … I do not cook much at all so thank you for the help:)
This is a great recipe Likes: 1 / 4 white onion 1 / 2 a tomato jalapeno pepper 1 medium, salt and pepper size chop the ingredients and mix until lump-free as can be seen more. But if all else fails, just buy a thick smooth sauce of stock and stir until the consistency of the baby food. Good luck
