can you make a cheese dip for nachos with just velveeta and some milk?
i dont want to use salsa
You can buy the cheese in a big can at smart & final, it is already runny we used to use it at pot lucks keeping it warm in a crock pot. I don’t buy it so I don’t know if it is sold in smaller quantities at regular markets. We made our own natchos, put the chips on a plate and ladled the cheese on the the salsa was in another container.

OK, for the first time in my life! I made Velveeta (?) cheese dip with hot wing sauce and Salsa mixed into it, then heat it up with a sauce pan. It turned out pretty good. But now I am thinking I would like to make more volume and better dip to bring it to a party! could you teach me how to make a better dip?
We have bible study meeting every Sunday and we usually bring something of our own to share with each other, some time we do Mexican and I would like to try to make some dip and chips to bring along for everyone to enjoy.

Dave’s (not so healthy) irresistible mexican dip.
1 lb ground beef.
1 pkg taco seasoning.
2 cans hot chili without beans.
1 large onion diced.
2 cans hot diced green chili’s
1 lb shredded sharp cheddar cheese
4 to 10 jalapeno peppers sliced
Brown ground beef with taco seasoning as per directions and drain fat.
Mix with all other ingredients saving some jalapeno slices for garnish
place mixture in 2 casserole dishes, garish with remaining jalapenos and bake at 350 for about 30 to 40 min or until cheese is melted and dip begins to bubble slightly.
Let cool for about 10 min before serving with Frito Scoops (the only chip strong enough to hold this hearty dip).
Tip #1 Don’t be shy with the jalapenos. Guests usually end up fighting over them if there aren’t enough.
Tip #2 Don’t serve this before a meal. Guests usually aren’t hungry enough to eat a meal after this dip.
