Can I put my salsa into the jars cold, and then put them into the hot water to seal?
I’m making salsa, and I let the salsa cool overnigh (because I was too tired), now my jars and my salsa are just barely warm…will putting them into the boiling water cause cracking?
I would reheat the salsa and the jars, fill up, then use the hot water bath to seal them. No risk of breaking OR bacteria.
