Prerequisite for salsa dance?
I am 22 year boy. I am not athletic or not a regular gymnastic. I want to learn salsa dance. I want to know is there any exercise or extra physical workout need to be done before starting learning dance. Please tell me, i really want to be a good dance specially salsa.
There are no particular physical requirements to dance salsa. It is an aerobic activity that could probably be compared to a low-impact aerobics class. It is actually a great way to lose weight because people often go dancing for several hours which is much longer than they might normally perform any type of exercise at a gym.
I think that someone who is in average shape doesn’t need to worry about getting into condition before taking salsa lessons. A person who is fairly overweight might find themselves short of breath when they dance. When a person first starts taking lessons the dancing is slower so as a student progresses in salsa they also tend to lose weight as the dancing gets more intensive little by little. Of course anyone with asthma or heart conditions should take care in any kind of physical activity and consult a physician first.
I’m sure you will be in fine shape to learn to dance.
In my opinion, if you really want to dance salsa well you should spend a lot of time listening to salsa music. The biggest problem for beginners is usually being able to find the beat of the music. The only cure for that is to listen, listen, listen every extra minute. Buy some salsa CDs and download them on your iPod or telephone and listen every chance you get. This will help you to learn to dance better much more quickly than any type of physical excerise will.
Also when you start the lessons you should try to find some people in the class who would like to practice together on their own time. If you only go to class once a week you will probably forget the moves from one week to the next and the beginning of each lesson will be a recap of the last one. If you practice just one hour on your own or preferably with a partner or friends you will find that you remember everything and are ready for a new move each week at class.

As a tennis superstar, she cannot afford to be too confident. Preparation is her weapon. Before the competition, she hits the tennis court and practice for thirty minutes six days a week. During tennis match, she only does warm up.
2. To get involved in other physical activities. Playing only tennis is boring. To keep her motivated, she revealed that her workout routine involves a variety of activities. She alternates tennis with Yoga or biking. Sometimes, she does salsa dancer, her favorite pastime hobby. Salsa dance is a combination of dance and fitness that centers on core work and builds strong abdomen.
3. Allow your body to have a break. Never permit your body to be injured from workout. In fact, in all your activities, ensure to protect your body. Pamper your body with treats such as spa, massage, and swimming. Unwind. The point is to de-stress.
4. Surround yourself with positive people. People who offer motivation, encouragement, and support are the ones to establish a connection. Avoid people who will just want to discourage you from lapsing from your workout regimen or diet plan. The tennis superstar revealed that her company includes her father, coach, and loving friends.
5. Protect your skin. Take care of your skin while young and healthy. Maria is a bold advocate of skin protection by using sunscreen. Because she is a tennis superstar, Sharapova’s skin is exposed to the sun’s harmful UV rays. She said that she never goes out without skin protection.
6. Maria Sharapova does not have a diet regimen. She enjoys eating delicious and nutritious foods. She eats three large meals because her career requires her body to be strong. She balances her meal with the right carbohydrates and protein. Her snacks involve fresh fruits and ham. Her sweets include anything that she craves.
7. Set realistic goals to yourself. Sharapova revealed that to keep her motivated, she always does what she loves and loves what she does. In addition to that, she works hard enough to achieve her goals. Of course, Maria must be realistic even when pushing beyond her limits.
8. Accept that in life, we cannot win all the time. However, disappointing defeat is dealing it with a philosophical approach can motivate the tennis superstar to deliver better performance on her next match.
9. Be a humble winner. In match, whenever Sharapova wins, she never criticizes her opponent. Neither does she brag about her skills. She believes in the golden rule that is why, Maria treats all her opponents in the same manner that she wants to be treated when she lost the match.
10. Be in control. As a tennis superstar, she learned how to say no to grand slam tournaments, social and professional duties and keeping her fans updated. Maria Sharapova revealed that her secret to being a tennis superstar is to be in control of her life and career.

Did I gain muscle or fat?
Ok, i’m 13 im a guy and i lost 90 lbs and i feel good. I recently went on vacation with dad to see my grandparents. I ate a ton of food their. Fired ice-cream, mexican food, fried chicken, ice cream everyday, orange juice, cereal, english muffins, late snacks, granola bars, hamburgers, chips, salsa, nach surpreme at the mexican restaraunt, seafood, and I gain almost 10 lbs. But I don’t look like I have. My dad says I probably gained 10 lbs of muscle because when I was their I was hitting the baseball around, throwing the baseball, shooting the basketball, I mowed the grass, I played pingpong, swam in the ocean, I did workouts on that thing called wii fit, I played bowling on it but I did mostly outdoor stuff with my arms and legs. So do you think I gained muscle not fat? I do workout and I don’t look like i’ve gained weight but I don’t look like muscle but I still gained?
it could be water weight, but if you dont look like you gained fat, why worry?? it could be a mix of both, and maybe it balanced out?? all that matters is that you feel good about yourself and your dad probably was being honest with you because all that activity you did burns a bit of calories and can help build muscle, but dont worry about it, and maybe those 10 pounds brought you up to a healthy weight, the weight that works for your body and congrats on your weight loss!
